I have officially run out of Christmas cards. Guess I should've ordered the extra 25 like I usually do. *my thought process: we always have so many extra cards. I can't even keep addresses straight. 50 will be enough...*

Sigh.

So, if I somehow lost or misplaced your address don't despair! Here is this year's card:

And the runner-up card:

And sweet Sabrina's birth announcement (note: these were tucked in the Christmas card envelopes, but I slid them in the wrong direction for the first 25 or so cards I stuffed. They might be lurking in your envelope still...)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Little Angel

What can I say, Sabrina is another little angel.

Smiles!

Somehow we've forgotten how critical it is to document every moment of an infant's life. They change so quick, I already feel like time is moving too fast. Sabrina has started smiling this week--I have a feeling she's a prodigy. Okay, fine, most babies are smiling by now. But I think she's doing it better than most. Agree?

Thanksgiving

Everyone came home for Thanksgiving this year, which was tons of fun. However, I don't have very many pictures yet. I need to get them from the people with fancy cameras. Never fear; it is on my list. In the mean time, I will throw up a few other pictures recently taken.

Sabrina with one of her favorite faces (disgrunted with tongue out).

Another favorite (the crazy eye).

Bedhead on a redhead.

To me, Gager looks like a combination his Mommy and Nana...and awesomeness.

Dani and Lucy loving the baby.

Gage adores being the big brother.

Sabrina loved Uncle Scott.

Reid's Thanksgiving turkey creation.

Yes. Gage is dressed as one of his secret identies: a knight of yore.

Dani's turkey creation didn't survive "birth," the evidence of its killer is on her lips.

Thanks for the cupcakes Stephanie. This is what happened. :)

Look at that little sleepy face.

More Pictures

More pictures (Sabrina and other) for your viewing pleasure

 So cute!

Nana loving a new grandchild.

Yes. Gage has blue face paint on.

Dani is very excited to have a sister.

First meetings.

Don't forget to look at Janine smiling in the background.

I know I shouldn't look so tired here. Janine did all the work!

Me and my other baby girl.

Look at that cute face!

Pajama party in Nana's bed.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

Now the New Baby Post

This is the only picture I've got on the computer at the moment. But don't you worry, there will be many, many more to come.

Not a New Baby Post

So when Joel and Brittany came down for Dad's birthday Joel brought with him a set of giant model teeth (because who doesn't travel with their model teeth?) and Gage was intrigued by the boxes. So he asked Joel what was in them. And Joel told him, truthfully, giant teeth. Apparently Gage then turned to Reid and said, "see, I KNEW giants were real."

For Halloween we went to Laurel & Brandon's and Brandon likes to do the sit-on-the-porch-like-a-statue-and-scare-kids thing. Danica was pretty unsure about him in his costume. She was scared, but she kept telling everyone it was just Brandon. But she was still scared. Fast forward to yesterday morning, she woke up ridiculously early and came to cuddle me, and for about an hour she told me about how Uncle Brandon dressed as a scary pocket screamer (I have no idea) and how it was just Uncle Brandon. Then she sang me "I am a Child of God" with the lyrics "parents kind of here." I thought it probably a little too appropriate.

The truth is I didn't take very many good Halloween pictures. Mom did though, so I'm going to skeeve them off her camera shortly. Stay tuned.

Trunk or treat:

Carving Pumpkins:

So Gager likes things precise...he didn't want to draw the lines himself, like Reid did, or have a free-form design. He wanted it EXACTLY like the scarecrow decoration we've got upstairs. He did do some of the carving himself though. Reid, on the other hand, pretty much did it all by himself (except the icky insides bit). I think it is funny how Reid likes the process and will try anything, and Gage likes the outcome so he wants things particular. Anyway...

Also: still no baby. Are you shocked? Me neither.

Catching Up

I know we are way behind on everything, so I am going to try and catch up on everything we have missed in one ridiculously huge post.

First item on the agenda, my little girl turned two.

The cute dress Grandma Suzy sent her.

Dani has had some great one-liners lately. I swear we have not taught her these things, and I don't know where she comes up with them. Here are a few examples.

Me: Come here baby.
Dani: No, sweetheart.

Dani (at bedtime): Where are we going tomorrow?
Me (at bedtime): Tomorrow is Sunday. We are going to church.
Dani (at bedtime): Daddy. Get me my Sunday shoes from the drawer.
Me (at bedtime): I'll get them for you tommorow.
Dani (8:00 AM and still in her crib. These are the first words from her mouth when I wake her.) Daddy, get my shoes from the drawer.

Dani (after getting dressed in a long-sleeved shirt with a flower pattern on the arms): Look! Pretty arms.

Dani: Gager Jacob Clayson! (growling) Don't ever.

Dani (at bedtime): I want a bandaid. (Her leg has a little scratch on it.)
Janine (at bedtime): I'll get you a new one in the morning.
Dani (at 5:00 AM): Mommy! I want a bandaid.
Janine (at 5:00 AM after staggering into Dani's room): I'll get you a bandaid when you wake up in the morning.
Dani (at 5:00 AM): I've slept a little.

This face looks like a Calvin and Hobbes face.

I do have some stories about the boys too. Here is a good Reid memory.

Reid (looking at me while laying on the futon in the sunroom and yelling) Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! DADDY!
Me: I was in the keeping room looking through the glass at Reid, so I waved for him to come through the door to talk to me.
Reid (still staring at me from the other room and shouting): Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!
Me (waving again to Reid to come to me and yelling): Come here to talk to me.
Reid (for literally 5 minutes straight): DADDY!
No I cannot remember what he wanted, but he got an earful about getting off his little behind and coming to me if he wants something. My lecture was not well recieved, however, as evidenced by the fact that he was yelling for Janine across the house this moring while she and everyone else were still asleep. *sigh*

The boys after catching a frog.

We have made several awesome trips to various Air Force related events/locations.

Reid playing pilot.

Gager sporting the Spongebob.

Dani and Piper being cute.

After the airshow. Yes. I do have white legs.

Dani staying out of the sun at the airshow.

Waiting for the Thunderbirds to fly.

The boys had an excellent Chuck-E-Cheese birthday party this year. No. Chuck was not there. You know I am way to cheap to pay for that kind of rubbish.

Janine's cool snake cake she made for the twins.

Gage loves Bakugan.

They had a great time.

Look at all the family that was there for the party.

Paul is on his way to Honduras soon. This picture was taken days before he went into the MTC. The kids will really miss him.

We have gone to a couple of little festivals lately, and they have been great fun. At the Piqua Festival, I liked the juggling show best, but I won't lengthen this post with the videos of it.

Gage is very unsure of this animal man at the Piqua Historic Festival.

Reid loved the pony ride.

So did Dani.

The "train ride."

Here is a story for Gage. I usually cut Gage's hair with a normal "boy cut," but the other day I decided to buzz him completely.
Gage (looking in the mirror after his hair was all gone): I don't want Mommy to see it. (He covered his head with his hands.)
Me: Why bud?
Gage: I don't know...will it grow back?
Me: Yes, it will grow back.
Gage: Are you sure?
Me: Yes. It will grow back in a couple of weeks.
Gage: But Grandpa's hair didn't grow back.
Me: Well, your hair will grow back in a couple of weeks.
Gage (covering his head with his hands again): I don't want Reid to see it.No. Janine was not happy with me, and she has forbidden me to ever buzz his head again. Gage has decided he likes it because it seems to get him as much attention for his lack of hair as Reid gets for his red head. Now the twins chase each other around trying to rub each others heads, with Reid yelling "buzz head!" and Gage shouting "carrot top!"
 Gage sporting his new hairdo.

I know I don't have anything on Janine's birthday in here. I have to find the pictures for it still. Hopefully this extensive post will satisfy our absence for the time being. :)
