Viewers Like You

Gage has refused to be as cooperative as he was the first day about speaking on demand. He does it sometimes and other times he give me funny looks. I can't stay mad at him or Reid. Look at how cute they look in the Mavericks outfits Collin and Liana got for us and the little polo shirts Tina bought them. (By the way, thanks to all of you who have given the boys outfits. *TV Announcer Voice* The cuteness of the twins attire is made possible by generous contributions from viewers like you. Seriously, thank you.)

Gage Says "Dada" On Demand

This morning I was playing with Gage and I said, "Say dada," as I occasionally do. I was caught off guard when he complied. Obviously I asked him several times after that and he responded each time. So, this evening when I got home from work Janine and I tried it again and caught it on video--hence the clip below.

I am lovin' this.

Gage isn't the only one who understands English. Reid gives kisses on demand all the time. It is great. Sometimes he gives them without request too. Last Sunday Gage was laying on the bench at church and Reid was sitting. Then without Janine or me saying anything Reid leaned over and gave Gage a slobbery kiss on the forehead. It was really cute. I would use a more masculine word than "cute," but I don't know of a word that fits as accurately.

Propaganda

We didn't take many pictures or videos this week, so I'm posting a slightly older video of Gage trying to crawl. I would put up some more recent pictures, but I only like to put up pics and videos that make the boys look ridiculously charming. It is part of my propaganda campaign to make my boys appear the best, most wonderful, well-behaved, charming, and fantastically good looking kids on the planet.

8 Months Old Tomorrow

I know I'm late posting this week. Usually I have something new up on Sunday, but it has been busy around here, so I didn't get it done.

Jeff visited us this last weekend because he was in Utah on some business. I put up a great pic of him and Reid--the redheaded bandits. It was great to see him again. I'm sad Michelle and Sarah couldn't come too. We did play Catan while Jeff was here, and I was sure I had it won; however, Janine pulled out a victory at the last second.

I put up a couple of other pics and a movie for your entertainment. I hope you are all well.

Easter Weekend

I was in Boise for a week taking a course for work. Fortunately Nana graciously came to our rescue and spent a week with Janine and the boys. Thanks so much

All of my side of the family came to Mom's for the Easter weekend. It was a very short visit, but wonderful to have everyone together--all ten Clayson kids, plus their kids and spouses. Even more amazing, all of us slept in one average-sized house.

Shane gave Parker a great blessing, and Brock and Crystal asked me bless Cavan (which I was honored to do). Both boys are healthy and handsome. Cavan is such a calm and happy baby. He gave me a chubby grin the first time I met him. It was really cute.

I've put some pictures up from Nana's visit and from the Easter get together. I've also posted a couple of new pictures of the boys, as well as a hilarious video of Reid and Gage playing peekaboo.

I hope you are all well, and that you had a great Easter.
