And the Cough Came Back...

Hey all. I thought for a second about trying to compose a poem in the style of William Carlos Williams, you know "This is just to say..." but then I remembered I have a cold and literally no brain power and decided against it. Somewhere in my head is a smart and witty take on that poem explaining our week, but it will apparently remain locked in that happy little spot.

Yep, you were reading correctly up there. We have colds. AGAIN. Reid got sick this past Monday with a fever, and ran a fever for seriously five days...longer than he's ever run one before. We were assured by our Dr. that this is normal for a winter virus. Gage got sick Thursday, and didn't seem nearly as bad. I got sick Saturday, and am super cranky. I hate coughing.

So, we don't have any pictures this week. Boys and I were sleeping on the couch most of the week, and tired, cranky mommies and kids means photo ops are pretty thin on the ground. Let's all get healthy this week and not catch anything else. I mean it!

Finally a Post

Thanks to those of you who heeded our plea for information on who you are. We really appreciate it.

Quick story: I took the boys to the store several days ago and this is how it played out.

Reid: Hi! (to some random stranger)
Random Stranger: Hi. (smiling)
Me: That's nice Reid. It's nice of you to say hi to people.
Reid: Hi to people! (while looking at the stranger)
Me: No. Just hi.
Reid: Just hi (again to the stranger)
Random Stranger: *partially stifled giggling*
Me: Your very nice Reid. (exasperated)

We had a great time with all the visitors here and a great time seeing everyone in Idaho. I haven't got any pictures from Idaho; however, we apparently forgot to take out the camera. Kurt, Megan, and Mom, could you guys email us some of the pictures you took? Thanks.

We took the boys to the Air Force Museum yesterday and they loved it. We do have some fun pictures from that one.

C'mon Gage...

Ok, I realize we've been super late posting. We've had lots of super fun company lately, and it distracted us. Now, we've all got colds so we decided to head up to Idaho and spread it around to Nick's family. Nice of us, hm?

Reid and Gage have taken to wandering around the house saying "C'mon Reid," or "C'mon Gage." It is cute.

Lots of fun stuff happened while we had lots of company, but...I am sick and pregnant, so my brain is around 1% functionality. Mom was here for a week, and we LOVED it and cried when she left, but it is not represented in photos because many are from mom's camera so she was taking them, and many others were not taken by us. By this I mean we sucked at taking pictures. We'll have to bum some off Joel and Brittany. Meanwhile, here are a few fun shots and a small video.
