Apparently blogger is only letting me post one video at a time right now, so I made up for it by putting up a super cute one of Dani. You may need to turn your volume up, as the audio is a little quiet.
You cannot tell me you have seen anything cuter than that. I don't believe you.
Since the video focuses on Dani, I'll tell a few short stories about her.
Almost everyday when I get home she dances in place, yells, "Daddy!" and rushes to hug me. Often she will follow that up by saying, "Daddy, will you snuggle me?" I'm sure you can guess my answer to that.
One time she set up a stool by the door and waited for me to get home for at least 10 minutes, which--for those of you who do not know her personality--is a fairly impressive time period.
She likes to call me on the phone while I am at work and ask me to come home to play with her.
She remembers names. She knew the names of all the cousins/aunts/uncles well before the boys did. She also remembers the names of all the kids in nursury, the neighbors (adults and kids), and of the guy who helps Nana do the gardening.
Yes...she is a little particle of heaven to me.
Switching topics, it is roughly 11 months since we packed up and moved across the country, so I thought I'd give a little update.
Moving was the right thing for us, and I am thankful to be here. The kids love it in Ohio. Grandparents, cousins, and friends make everyday a party to those little extroverts. It has been great for Janine and me to have family all around too. My job is going well, and I feel as though my career is on a good track with the opportunity to learn new things each day. Life is good and I feel blessed.
I also want to reiterate my thanks to those who helped us along the way, and to thank those of you who are still continually serving us. May God bless you.
