Another Quick Post This Week

The boys really like each other, and they are really cute about it sometimes. Check out the video to see what I mean.

Reid Uses Sign Language

The boys are scooting all over the place. Still no actual crawling--they haven't figured out the knees component. They are doing really well.

Gage is getting his other bottom tooth. He is a little cranky about this tooth as well. For some reason his little teeth seem to move really slowly.

The video clip is Reid doing the milk sign in ASL. We have been showing the boys signs for a while, but I had never seen either of them use one before. It is really fun.

By the way, Matt has done some more updating of his site. He is adding more stuff and improving the aesthetics all the time.

Super Twins?

Gage finally cut a tooth. It is not yet picture worthy as it barely pokes through the gums. He was super cranky about the whole experience, and it took a long time--several weeks of really swollen gums.

Both boys are sleeping through the night pretty consistently now, and by through the night I mean until 5:30 AM. We put them to bed at 7:00 PM though, so that is pretty dang good. We keep hoping they will stretch out their sleep just a little longer, but we'll see if that happens.

I'm putting up a couple of pictures of the boys in their superman outfits that Kurt and Megan gave them. Thanks for those; the boys look so cute in them. I also put up a picture of the boys in the bathroom. The white streak across the picture is toilet paper that Gage managed to grab. The picture of Reid covering his eyes was taken at the zoo. I would give more detail of that trip, but the boys didn't like it much. (Again, for propaganda purposes I give only charming information about the boys.) Anyway, Reid was tired and wanted to sleep, but the sun kept getting in his eyes; so he covered them and passed out.

I've added more family links to the sidebar, as well as some links to friends' blogs as well. Hopefully that will make it easier for everyone to keep up with the various websites. Janine and I really enjoy seeing what's up with all of you.

The Boys Learn To Scootch Forward

The boys aren't crawling, but a few days ago Reid learned how to move forward. He was really excited to figure that out because now he can get stuff that is farther than arm's length in front of him. We took this video soon after he learned. The next day Gage also learned to scootch forward.

Slobbery Kisses

Janine put up most of our recent pics (at least the charming ones) in the photobucket. So, I've only got a couple others I wanted to put up. I think Reid asked me for his bottle--which he called "baba"--a few days ago. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but he was very happy to have the bottle when I brought it to him. Either way, he understands a lot of words. He will almost always give Gage or us a kiss goodnight if you ask him to. It is really cute and usually slobbery.

Nick asked me to upload another slideshow, but it has taken me until today (yep, five days later) to actually do it. The sad part is that I am actually getting WAY more done than what I used to accomplish. I need to master the five-minute cleaning.

The boys are getting to be so much fun lately, I am starting to not get things done because it is just so fun to watch them! Both boys are giving lots of kisses, both to us and to each other. It is sure cute.
