Monsters

This morning when Dani woke up the first words out of here mouth were "Monsters coming?" For the next fifteen minutes she crouched, peeked, whispered and stomped around the semi-dark living room, looking for monsters. She checked in the bench. She seemed pretty convinced they were on the stairs. She came over to me and said, "Mommy, monsters scary! Help!" Still, she seemed more happy than scared. I told her to tell the monsters to "go away" and she proceeded to happily shout "go away monster!" down the stairs for a couple minutes.

Not quite sure where this came from. She hasn't even seen Monster's Inc. She does have the book, Big Green Monster. Anyway, it was pretty freaking adorable. My baby, the monster hunter.

Whatever Caught My Eye

No. There is no method to the pictures and videos I have posted. I've just posted anything that caught my eye. Hope you like them.

I'm sure Reid is thinking, "Not my hair--the source of all my power!"

Gage and Reid are "special" players in their indoor soccer program. Out of the whole season (five games), they have collectively kicked the ball at least six times. Running after the ball is usually too tiring, so they mostly stand in the middle watching the other kids chase it, reporting to us that the other kids aren't taking turns. They also like to stop by the side lines every other minute to explain how they love us, or to the assure us that they love the treats after the game is over.

Despite all the craziness, the twins do make great entertainment out there. Sometimes they chase the other kids around while holding each others hands. (We have never caught that on camera unfortunately.) Other times they chat with each other at the goal. Gage is actually a pretty decent goalie, and Reid has gotten a lot better at getting in there and kicking the ball. I'm sure they will get the hang of it soon.

Dani feels like she is big enough to play indoor soccer. The picture makes her look like she is moving at super speed, which is often true.

We went to Pocatello to watch Sierra play "Kim" in Bye, Bye, Birdie. The camera struggled to get non-blurry shots in the dim lighting.
