So Big

The videos speak for themselves. Enjoy!

Isn't that to stinking cute. She has taken to snuggling her baby, along various stuffed animals and toys.

The first snowman video is better. This one is mostly down time, but I had to laugh at her adamant head shaking about singing and dancing some more.

A quick story about Reid.

Reid: "Mom, can I have one or two little candies from my Halloween bucket?"
Janine: "Sure. Were you guys good for Daddy this morning? Check with your dad."
Me: "Yeah. They were pretty good this morning."
Reid: "Dad, can I have two or three candies?"

You may have noticed the number of candies changed between Reid's first and second asking. Yes. It was intentional. He has developed a talent for being given an inch and getting a mile instead. He is a better salesman at six than I am currently.

Now a quick Gage story.

Gage and Reid do not roughhouse very often, but today they were wrestling and having fun. At one point Reid had Gage pinned down. This is how it played out.

Gage: "Hold on Reid. I'm thirsty."
Reid: "Yeah. I'm thirsty too," he says as he climbs off of Gage.
Gage: "Yaaghhh!" as he charges in to tackle the unsuspecting Reid.

Yes. They did dress themselves for bed, though I also regularly dress them like orphans.

ALSO:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SABRINA SUE!!!

She's ONE!

Where did this year go?

I'm not going to lie, I don't feel I used it as productively as Sabrina. She went from this:

to this:
and this:

and this:

She crawls, and climbs and is starting to talk and has definite OPINIONS thankyouverymuch. She is growly and funny and thinks she's as big as the boys and she loves her siblings and she wants to eat cake.

Like this one:
(it is a pumpkin-ish. This was the day after the election (which won't be spoken of on this blog, except to say it was a rough night for us) and I was very tired.

(I can't find the during-and-after cake pictures. She enjoyed it as both a food and shampoo. Maybe they are on Nick's phone).

In this month where we remember things we're grateful for, I am especially grateful for my sweet baby girl. She has been an utter joy. The easiest, nicest, sweetest baby I could've asked for. Almost enough to make you want more (almost).

Happy Birthday Sabrina!

And now. Halloween:

Pumpkin carving happened in a 45 minutes window post and emergency Target run for supplies before school on Halloween morning. Because I am very on top of things.

The point here is they are ALL CARVED. And Reid isn't wearing a shirt. But mostly that it happened, they got carved, and the kids were happy. I call a win.

The cousins. Piper was the hulk, Mason an ogre, Kerrin a viking, Gage was Thor, Reid was a Skylander elf guy, Livi a vampire, Nadia a kitty, Dani was Merrida & Sabrina was a witch. Whew!

Kerrin made hats for all the kids
 Gager's
Reid's. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he kinda looks like a teenager here.

And one more of these.
The baby is her bday present that Danica "shares" all the time. Sabrina LOVES it though. She bounces and hugs it does a happy dance. Honestly she couldn't be any cuter. Really.

(PS, despite the signature, this is Janine)

Almost One

That's right. My baby is almost one year old. To celebrate her ridiculous cuteness, enjoy this moment I caught on video today. (You may need to turn your volume up to hear Janine talking to Sabrina as the clip starts.)

Yep. She loves me!
