The girls...

Dani loves the book, Don't Let The Pigeon Drive the Bus. The job of the listener is to continue to say "no" while the pigeon character begs to stay up. Dani turned to me this evening and said, "I almost said yes that time mom. That silly pigeon!"

She is amazingly and incredibly cute. There is also a line in that book where the pigeon pleads, "it's the middle of the day in China." Dani has no idea what that means but periodically uses it as a go-to excuse. Don't want to get dressed? It's the middle of the day in China.

Sabrina has turned a corner on the whole talking thing. She likes music and will, on occasion, sing a version of "Skidamarink a doo" which sounds like monkeys gargling marbles, but we like it. She also loves to say "no" and "mine" and "shoes." In fact, I consider it a point of pride some of my girls first words were "shoes."

Sabrina makes a garbled sound when asked to say the boy's names, but she can say a passable "Danica". You can see who has her heart. Check out how she copies Dani in the video:

Happy Easter!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

I also wanted to show off my adorable kids. Especially the girls in the beautiful Easter dresses Grandma Suzy made. Thanks Mom.

Easter Shenanigans

We had a great Easter around here. Helicopter egg drops, sparkly egg decorating and all around hijinks. Sabrina continues to think she's a grown-up & Dani could hardly wait to wear her Easter dress. The girl loves dresses.
