Gage made me laugh out loud tonight at bedtime. I sent the twins down to their room so I could get them ready for bed--I try not to go with them immediately because they move about as fast as potato sack when moving toward their beds and it drives me nuts. A minute later I went down to get them ready, and as usual they jumped out to surprise me when I entered the room.
Me: (Feigned surprise face on.) Whoa. You guys scared the heck out of me.
Gage: (Sincere face on.) Daddy. You don't like heck. That's why we scare you.
I assume he thinks I don't like heck because I'll say things like, "What the heck are you two doing?" He is right. I do not like heck.
