Nick intended to post on Sunday, but for some reason our server was down, and it wouldn't work. I thought he had a draft saved, but apparently not. So, you get to hear from me again. Not altogether good, considering I am sleepy and home alone, so prone to loopiness. Lucky for you, dear reader, I have the entire upstairs to clean still and it is almost 10pm. It may not sound late to some of you happy-go-lucky people out there, but trust me--my coach is about to turn into the proverbial pumpkin.
I sure hope neither of the boys gets sick, as we are all gearing up for Maribeth's wedding. People start arriving here on the 14th, which means I will not finish my list of chores before they get here. Sadly, I think it also means I won't lose this blasted ten pounds. Maybe if I ate less chocolate...seems drastic though.
BTW, as I mentioned last week, we're having some technical issues. Here is my question: is it possible to add new music to my iPod without losing all the music we lost in the great computer crash? I have a couple CDs to put on there, but I'm afraid to synch it. If anyone out there knows the answer, please email. And use small words--I'm a bit slow about the whole iTunes deal.
Boys are getting funnier and funnier everyday. We bought a toy vacuum at DI on Saturday, and Gage spent about 8 hours between Sunday and Monday pushing it around. He held it when he got his diaper changed. He held it when he was in his high chair. He went to time out five times for stealing it from Reid. Today though, it is just another toy. Too bad--it isn't loud, doesn't cause damage, and kept him occupied. He still enjoys it, but not with the same ferver. Which is probably good, in the end.
Also, as you'll note in the pictures, Reid and I had a disagreement about the appropriate age to start working with eggs. He was just sad I screamed when I saw his masterwork.
That's all I've got time for this week. I'm pretty sure there might have been a cute video or two...I'll try to add one mid-week!

Janine, I love the cute boys with vacuum and eggs! I know absolutely nothing about iTunes - I can't even Synch as you call it? haha. I was wondering though if you might want some help with the chores that you wanted to do before people get there for Maribeth's wedding?? I could come up anytime and help ya out for a bit. Even if you just wanted me to take the kids out to play or something. I know it'd be crazy adding two more kids to the mix, but let me know ok? Talk to you soon!
Your boys are so cute! These are the times you look back on and laugh about because they are gone so fast!!
Hi Guys -
The only way to add music to your iPod is to have the music in your iTunes library. Thus, in your case, as soon as you try to add the new music, iTunes will erase any music currently on your iPod that isn't in your iTunes library. They do this to prevent people from building up their libraries from others.
There might be some software on the internet that can extract the music from the iPod (to rebuild your iTunes library).
Hope this helps.
Oh, don't you just love boys that want to be independent! I have had my share of eggs broken by kids that want to get them on their own. Just try to keep smiling because you will laugh someday. =>
